US Asset Management Audit (Assistant) Manager

- Lead audits for asset managers focusing on private markets funds in compliance with US GAAP and IFRS overseeing planning, execution, and completion.
- Advise clients on business opportunities arising from PwC USA's initiatives in asset management, facilitating significant product and investment launches.
- Coordinate international teams for engagements in the USA, Europe, and other regions, ensuring seamless collaboration and communication.
- Develop stakeholder management skills and tackle challenging projects in various sectors, enhancing your ability to navigate complex situations.
- Drive the audit of valuations for investments and non-financial reports by leading sub-teams, ensuring accuracy and thoroughness in the process.
- Manage audits of companies preparing financial statements in accordance with US GAAP, IFRS, and SEC filings.
- Prepare audit files for Partner review and assist in presenting audit findings to management or Board of Directors.
- Develop and extend relationships with clients, actively supporting them in technical accounting matters.
Your Skill Set
- Possess a university degree in accounting or equivalent with US CPA qualification or equivalent, demonstrating a strong academic foundation.
- Have more than 4+ years of demonstrable international experience in a similar role at a Big 4 company, showcasing a solid background in the Private Markets industry.
- Exhibit extensive auditing experience in US GAAP, IFRS, and SEC filings, highlighting your technical expertise.
- Demonstrate proficiency in digital audit transformation, SOX, PCAOB standards, and the latest audit technologies, showcasing adaptability and innovation.
- Possess knowledge of the USA market, and strong analytical and interpersonal skills, enabling effective client and team interactions.
- Excellent English verbal and written communication skills, German language proficiency is a plus.
