- Join PwC's Financial Services Strategy & Transformation practice in Zurich and advise leading Wealth Managers, Asset Managers, Private Banks, Family Offices and other Financial Services institutions on their strategic and transformation priorities, with a focus on Liquidity & Funding and Treasury topics.
- Act as a trusted advisor to senior client stakeholders, leveraging deep expertise to transform their liquidity and funding practices to improve their opportunity cost efficiency and to fulfil internal and external requirements, while closely collaborating with Finance, Banking Restructuring and Risk Teams.
- Develop solutions that will help our clients to efficiently measure, manage and use their liquid assets on a short-term operational and mid-term structural basis and integrate that view into their risk understanding in a rising interest rate environment.
- Leverage emerging technologies, including Artificial Intelligence, to identify innovative solutions, enhance delivery approaches and create tangible value for our clients, while continuously expanding your own capabilities and expertise.
- Drive business development activities by building client relationships, identifying opportunities, leading proposals and contributing to PwC's market presence through thought leadership and industry engagement.
- Be responsible to further develop the go-to-market strategy for liquidity and funding and other strategy and transformation topics with our key banking clients.
- Work in a global environment with the largest banks, you will be embedded in a network of our company that gathers and shares industry insights in Liquidity & Funding worldwide.
Your Skill Set
- An excellent University / ETH Master's degree in Banking, Finance, Economics, Business Administration or an adjacent field that enables you to work with banks and other financial service companies.
- 8+ years of hands-on experience in the Banking Sector or Consulting and extensive experience working on liquidity and funding topics incl. Funds Transfer Pricing (FTP) and working with Trading, Treasury Departments, Financial Risk or Finance and Accounting Departments.
- Extensive experience with complex banking products.
- A strong affinity for numbers and logical processes, are excellent with Excel and other quantitative programs and feel highly comfortable showing your ideas in Power Point.
- Strong interest in emerging technologies, including Artificial Intelligence, and the ability to apply new tools and approaches to solve business challenges and improve client outcomes.
- Take responsibility for constantly increasing your knowledge in Banking on a personal, intrinsic basis throughout your career.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving and communication skills, combined with an entrepreneurial mindset and a passion for delivering tangible business outcomes.
- Fluent in English. German is a highly significant plus and other languages (e.g. French) are welcome.
- Programming skills are highly recommended and beneficial (e.g. python).
- CFA, FRM certificates are a significant plus.
- Flexibility to travel domestically and internationally as required.
