- Shape AI and data strategies with clients, defining vision, target architectures, and roadmaps for AI-enabled business and workforce transformations, and translating strategic priorities into concrete programmes, offerings, and go-to-market initiatives.
- Manage end-to-end AI, ML, and data solution design and delivery, from problem framing and discovery to production rollout and adoption, with a proven track record of moving use cases from prototype to production.
- Architect and oversee implementation of modern data and AI platforms (e.g. cloud-based data stacks, MLOps practices, integration with existing systems and processes), ensuring robust, scalable, and secure solutions.
- Design and supervise development of AI and GenAI use cases, such as document intelligence, knowledge retrieval, workflow automation, risk and compliance models, and AI assistants for professionals, turning pilots and proofs of concept into scalable offerings and reusable assets.
- Act as a thought leader and innovation driver: scan emerging AI technologies, identify new opportunities, and help build our market presence and pipeline through differentiated AI solutions.
- Take a leading role in client conversations, workshops, and executive discussions, ensuring clear communication, strong stakeholder alignment, and trusted relationships with senior client stakeholders.
- Lead multidisciplinary engagement teams, coach and mentor junior colleagues, and provide organisational and delivery leadership, including solution architecture governance, change enablement, and internal process excellence.
Your Skill Set
- Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, or a related technical field; additional business education (e.g. MBA, executive programmes) is a plus.
- Extensive experience (typically 8+ years) in designing and delivering AI/ML and data solutions, including at least 3–4 years in management consulting, technology consulting, or a comparable client-facing advisory role; additional experience in product or complex enterprise environments is an advantage.
- Deep hands-on expertise in machine learning and AI, including generative AI and large language models, plus solid experience in at least one of: document and knowledge management, legal or tax technology, risk and compliance analytics, or workflow automation.
- Strong technical toolkit: proficiency in Python and common ML/AI frameworks; experience with modern data and ML platforms (e.g. Azure, AWS or GCP; Databricks; Snowflake; MLflow; vector databases; MLOps toolchains).
- Proven experience leading multidisciplinary teams and complex projects, including solution architecture, delivery governance, stakeholder management, and change enablement.
- Strong organisational and operational leadership skills, with the ability to drive structure, run essential internal processes, and ensure delivery excellence.
- Excellent communication skills in German and English, with the ability to explain complex AI and data topics to both technical and non-technical audiences and to facilitate workshops, steering committees, and executive discussions.
