Senior Associate - Controlling, Advisory Operations

- Support monthly, bi‑annual and annual financial closings in close collaboration with the central finance team, ensuring accurate evaluation of revenue and net billable work in progress.
- Develop, implement and continuously enhance KPI reports and performance analyses to monitor Advisory results and support leadership decision‑making.
- Contribute to forecasting and budgeting processes, strengthening financial planning and business steering.
- Work actively with S/4HANA, Power BI and Excel, contributing to the optimization and further digitalization of the controlling and reporting landscape.
- Drive the development and standardization of controlling and reporting processes within Advisory, with a focus on efficiency and data quality.
- Participate in strategic projects and initiatives, supporting the implementation of Advisory priorities and long‑term objectives.
- Act as a trusted contact for financial topics, representing Advisory Controlling in discussions with partners and the central finance organization.
Your Skill Set
- University degree in Economics, Finance or a related field, with a focus on Controlling or Finance.
- Several years of professional experience in Controlling or Finance, ideally in a consulting, professional services or similarly dynamic environment.
- Solid understanding of core controlling and accounting topics, including profit and loss statements and work‑in‑progress management.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to structure, interpret and clearly communicate complex financial topics.
- Advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint, with hands‑on experience in S/4HANA. Exposure to Power BI is an advantage, and Alteryx knowledge is a plus.
- Confident communication skills in English; German skills are an advantage.
- Service‑oriented, reliable working style with the ability to priorities effectively and remain focused in a fast‑paced environment.
- Team‑oriented mindset combined with the ability to work independently and take ownership of responsibilities.
