- Lead S/4HANA technical transformation and upgrade programs: Own technical assessments, readiness checks, impact analysis, retrofit strategy, risk strategy, test planning, cutover support and delivery governance for SAP S/4HANA implementations and upgrades.
- Shape complex integration and data replication solutions: Design integration concepts between SAP and non SAP systems, including Central Finance, MDG, BW or BW/4HANA, external finance, tax, planning, reporting and CRM applications, using technologies such as SLT, SAP CPI, SAP PO, MuleSoft, IDoc, RFC, AIF and related middleware.
- Drive Clean Core and extensibility decisions: Define pragmatic Clean Core approaches for custom code, RICEFW, Fiori, CDS views, AMDP, ABAP developments, SAP BTP extensions, integration patterns and code remediation.
- Lead finance transformation technology streams: Support S/4HANA Finance and Central Finance programs across Record to Report, Procure to Pay, Project to Delivery, tax, group reporting, central payments, reconciliation and financial close topics.
- Manage global teams and delivery quality: Lead multidisciplinary teams of consultants, developers, architects, client IT and technology partners, including offshore and nearshore delivery models. Establish code guidelines, review processes, quality gates and performance tuning practices.
- Bridge stakeholders across business and IT: Align enterprise architects, process owners, functional leads, system owners and program leadership across multiple ERP landscapes and geographies. Create clear decision materials and drive structured issue and escalation management.
- Bring innovation into practical SAP delivery: Assess and prototype useful applications of SAP BTP, SAP Business AI, Joule, automation, analytics and data services in real transformation contexts.
- Contribute to commercial growth: Lead or support solution shaping, effort estimation, proposal preparation, sales materials, client presentations and commercial discussions for complex SAP opportunities.
- Strengthen thought leadership and talent: Develop reusable assets, points of view, technical accelerators, training material and mentoring approaches for SAP technical transformation topics.
Your Skill Set
This opportunity is aimed at hands on senior SAP transformation professionals who combine deep technical architecture expertise, consulting leadership and delivery ownership. The profile is suitable for Manager and Senior Manager level candidates who have already led large SAP S/4HANA technical and integration streams in complex client environments.Expected Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor or Master degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Informatics, Business Administration with technology focus, or a related field.
- SAP technical transformation experience: 10 or more years of experience in SAP technical solution design, S/4HANA implementation, S/4HANA upgrade, ERP modernization, enterprise application advisory or SAP enabled business transformation.
- S/4HANA track record: Experience across multiple SAP S/4HANA implementations, upgrades or conversion programs, ideally covering several S/4HANA releases and recent releases such as 2021, 2023 or 2025.
- Technical solution design depth: Strong SAP ABAP, RICEFW, CDS, AMDP, Fiori, HANA, performance tuning and debugging expertise, with the ability to review solution quality, guide development teams and define technical standards.
- Integration and replication expertise: Proven experience with SAP and non SAP integration, data replication and technical connectivity using SLT, SAP CPI, SAP PO, MuleSoft, IDoc, RFC, AIF, BODS, Information Steward or comparable tools.
- Central Finance and finance process exposure: Strong experience in S/4HANA Finance or Central Finance, including FI and CO replication, reconciliation, central payments, tax reporting, group reporting, FSCM or related finance transformation topics.
- Clean Core, BTP and cloud mindset: Practical knowledge of Clean Core principles, SAP BTP capabilities, extensibility, cloud adoption and AI enabled SAP innovation.
- Large program leadership: Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams, ideally including 20 or more consultants, across geographies, workstreams and delivery partners.
- Stakeholder and consulting maturity: Experience managing senior client stakeholders, system owners, architects, functional leads and delivery partners, with clear communication, storytelling, estimation and presentation skills.
- Commercial and proposal experience: Ability to support RfPs, solutioning, effort estimates, commercials, client presentations and account growth.
- Language skills: Excellent written and spoken English.
Desirable Qualifications
- SAP certifications such as ABAP, SAP Enterprise Architecture, SAP BTP, SAP Integration Suite, S/4HANA Finance or comparable credentials.
- Experience with S/4HANA Public Cloud, SAP Business AI, Joule, SAP Activate and agile delivery approaches.
- Experience in multinational SAP landscapes with multiple ERP source systems, ideally more than 10 source ERPs and several countries.
- Experience integrating SAP with applications such as Ariba, Salesforce, ONESOURCE, Longview, Bloomberg, CRM, tax reporting or financial consolidation platforms.
- Experience in manufacturing, pharma, construction, real estate, finance or complex industrial environments.
- German or French skills are a strong plus.
- MBA, advanced technology degree or equivalent advisory leadership experience is beneficial.
