- Participate in the preparation of financial closings, collaborating closely with the central finance department to ensure accurate evaluation of revenue and net billable WIP.
- Develop meaningful KPI reports and implement them to monitor Advisory performance, while creating ad-hoc financial reports to aid the leadership team in decision-making.
- Assist in regular forecasting and budgeting processes to ensure robust financial planning.
- Engage actively with S4/Hana, PowerBI, and Excel, contributing to the continuous optimization of digital tools.
- Drive thw further development of controlling and reporting processes, as well as digitalization efforts within the Advisory unit.
- Contribute to the implementation of strategic projects and processes in Advisory, aiding in the achievement of overarching goals.
- Represent Advisory controlling in meetings with partners and the central finance team, serving as the primary contact for finance-related issues.
Your Skill Set
- University degree in Economics or Finance with a focus on Controlling; 3-5 years of experience in Controlling, ideally in a similar environment.
- Strong understanding of numbers and solid expertise in fundamental controlling and accounting topics, including P/L statements and work in progress management.
- Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and S4/Hana; experience with PowerBI is a plus and knowledge of Alteryx is advantageous.
- Structured, solution-oriented mindset with the ability to clearly communicate and break down complex issues.
- Fluency in English is required; proficiency in German is an advantage.
- Service-oriented with a strong sense of responsibility, able to maintain control in hectic situations while effectively prioritizing tasks.
- Enjoyment of teamwork alongside the capability to independently and reliably handle tasks.
- Enthusiasm for multi-faceted Controlling tasks in a dynamic environment is highly valued.
